We have participated in a variety of Remembrance Day activities to honour the soldiers who have been killed, injured, or affected by war.
Key Stage 2 led a whole-school worship, providing us with time for reflection and prayer.
We also took part in a whole-school poetry workshop, which allowed us to explore a range of World War I poems through drama and performance. Each poem focused on a different aspect of World War I including recruitment, the Christmas Day Truce, and how the war impacted families.
