Year 5 class had an amazing adventure at Lower Wood Farm in Ludlow! The day was filled with fun and learning, all thanks to the wonderful farmer, James, who guided us throughout the visit.

The children were delighted to have the chance to pet the friendly cows and even help feed them, which was a hit among the students. They also became mini scientists as they caught various insects around the farm, taking notes and investigating their findings.

In addition to hands-on activities, the pupils discovered fascinating facts about food chains and cycles that sustain life on a farm. They learned all about pastoral farming and the importance it holds in our food system.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to experience life on a farm first-hand. We look forward to more adventures like this in the future!
