In February, we proudly celebrated #SaferInternetDay 2026, joining schools and organisations across the country to promote safe, responsible and positive use of technology.
This year, we spent time exploring the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and thinking carefully about how it can make our lives better when used thoughtfully and safely.
Throughout the week, the children learned what AI is and discovered the many ways it is already part of our everyday lives — from voice assistants and translation tools to personalised recommendations and educational apps. We discussed how AI can support learning, spark creativity, help us solve problems and even assist people in important jobs such as medicine, engineering and environmental protection.
