Our trip to London began at New Street Station. We visited Trafalgar Square and saw Nelson’s Column, learning about its historical importance.

We then explored the National Gallery, where we saw a range of famous artworks. After that, we walked along Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament for a guided tour. During the visit, we learned about the House of Commons and how democracy works, including how people vote for Members of Parliament to represent them and how laws are discussed and decided.

A highlight of the day was meeting Sarah Coombes, the MP for West Bromwich, who told us about her role.
