As part of our Black History Month celebrations, pupils enjoyed a wonderful art workshop led by visiting art teacher Nikki McBride, exploring this year’s theme, Honouring Our Communities.
Through their artwork, the children celebrated diversity, culture and the people who make our communities special. They enjoyed expressing their creativity and produced some fantastic pieces of art that reflected the importance of belonging, identity and community.
A huge thank you to Nikki for inspiring our young artists and helping us celebrate Black History Month in such a creative and meaningful way.
