Our annual Sports Day was a great success and a fantastic celebration of fun, effort, and teamwork.
Reception and Key Stage 1 took part in the morning, enjoying a range of activities including: cup and ball races, hurdles, bean bag races, and sack races. In the afternoon, our Key Stage 2 pupils showed excellent energy and sportsmanship as they competed in their events including: sprints, egg and spoon, and under and over races.
We were delighted to see so many parents and carers in attendance, creating a brilliant atmosphere of support and encouragement – particularly during the parent and toddler races! We were also lucky to have beautiful weather throughout the day.
A big thank you to our coaches and sports leaders for helping the day run smoothly and making it such an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Our winning house for Sports Day was St Andrew (blue house), who won both Reception & Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 sessions; winning by an overall margin of 75 points.
Well done pupils from all houses. We are very proud of your efforts!
